Watch out for 35W traffic headaches this weekend!

For the 2nd weekend in a row (!!) Interstate 35W is closing from Downtown Minneapolis to the Crosstown on Friday, Oct. 6. Beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday both directions of I-35W between I-94 and Highway 62 will close for the demolition of the Franklin Avenue bridge. High winds deflate MG Sports Dome

One of our region’s amenities – the Maple Grove Sports Dome – has been deflated by high winds! Apparently some of the gusts were up to 60 MPH in the area.
